Carburetor:-
It is a mechanical device that supplying a spark-ignition engine with a mixture of fuel and air.
Simple carburetor consists of a flat chamber, nozzle with metering orifice venture and throttle valve.
The flat and needle valve system maintains a constant height of petrol in the flat chamber. If the amount of fuel in flat chamber drops below the designed level the flat lowers thereby opening the needle of the fuel system.

Advantages of Carburetor:-
1. Simple design,2. Easy to service,
3. Spares are affordable,
4. A local mechanic fix the problem.
Disadvantages of Carburetor:-
1. It can't provide a perfect air-fuel ratio constantly.2. It can't control the wastage of fuel effectively.
3. More air emissions than fuel injectors.
