Scheduling:-
Scheduling determines the program
for the operations. It is the fixation of time and date for each operation as
well as it determines the sequences of operations to be followed. This program
is prepared by the planning department.

Routine may be defined as the
selection of path which each part of the product will follow while being
transformed from raw material to finished products.

The routing procedure consists of six dimensions.

5. Determination of scrap factor.
